Daily Planning Ritual
A short morning conversation that ends in a plan for the day. It starts with how you feel and how you want to feel, reads your calendar, reminders, and email by area of your life, and checks the balance with you before anything is drafted. The plan shows where the day goes across work, life projects, relationships, friendships, self, and fitness, so you can see when one area is swallowing the rest.

How to use it⌗
You can trigger this skill with phrases like:
- “plan the day”
- “plan my day”
- “plan today”
Features⌗
Context gathering across your life
Gathers context from your calendar, reminders, emails, and Drive docs, plus persistent sections from a Daily Planning Notes Google Doc, so your plan reflects real constraints. Requires Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, and Reminders connectors; any unavailable source is skipped and noted in the plan.
Customized by your notes doc, not by editing the skill
Reads whatever sections your Daily Planning Notes doc contains and reproduces them in the plan verbatim, in your order. Rename, add, remove, or reorder sections and the next plan follows along - there is nothing to keep in sync.
Conversational, not a checklist Every turn reflects back one thing and asks one question. It follows the thread you offer, asks about empty areas together instead of one by one, and stops when it can say how the day divides.
Balance check before the plan exists Says the shape of the day back to you, names the skew plainly, connects it to how you said you want to feel, and asks whether that is the day you want. A skewed day you choose is fine; one nobody named is not.
Where the day goes The plan lists every area of your life with its rough share of the day, including the ones that get nothing today. Areas default to work, life projects, relationships, friendships, self, and fitness, and a section in your notes doc replaces them with your own.
Poetic openings to each day Creates daily plans with a poetic opening statement to set the tone for your day.
Iterative refinement before finalizing Helps you iteratively refine the plan before finalizing, so you end up with a schedule that truly fits your day.
